The camp was graced by Hon. Felix Koskei, EGH, Chief of Staff and Head of the Public Service, and Arthur Amug Osiya, CBS, Principal Administrative Secretary, alongside county leadership and other health-sector stakeholders.

KIPRE, represented by its Board Chair, Prof. Josephat Mulimba participated in the medical camp through its Departments of Reproductive Health and One Health, as well as the Kenya Snakebite Research and Intervention Centre.

KIPRE showcased its commitment to community health through the donation of sanitary towels to support menstrual health and hygiene, alongside showcasing medically important snakes found in the region and sensitizing community members on snakebite prevention, first aid and timely referral. The team also engaged Community Health Promoters on appropriate response to snakebite emergencies.

The camp highlighted the importance of collaboration in strengthening community health, prevention and preparedness for health emergencies.
